With the good weather kicking in, it's impossible to not think about summer. At Brown university, an experience of a lifetime is offered with their Pre-College Summer Courses for high school students.
Brown University is a prestigious ivy league university in Providence, Rhode Island. During the fall and spring semesters, it serves as a home and academic threshold to some of the brightest students all over the world.
In the summer though, the university opens its doors to students from grades 9-12 where one can examine their own DNA, explore their relationship to the world in international affairs, discover the core of human behavior or sharpen their writing skills to the point of perfect punctuation. Nevertheless, a high school student can explore what it truly means to be an every day college student... or better yet, ivy league student with the Summer@Brown Proagram.
The great thing about this summer program is how easy it is to apply for the Summer @Brown Program. One can fill out their whole application online. Even now, in Mid May, the summer program is still looking for applicants. Financial aid is also offered and the Student Services' phone line is open from 8 a.m. till the end of the day.
I attended the Summer@Brown Program last year. Truthfuly, the expirience was indescribable. I loved every simple momment like walking to John D. Rockefeller Library, having movie nights with my other floor mates and RA, and even going to class. I would recommend it everyone and anyone who wants a great summer.
