SHS 2011 Spring Blood Drive

On Thursday, April 28th, Stoughton High School hosted its biannual blood drive in the gymnasium. Working with the Red Cross, Peer Leadership registered students during the week leading up to the event and assisted with proceedings on the day of it.


Pennies for Paws: Every Cent Counts

As you peer into each cage at the local animal shelter, all that crosses your mind is how cute the animals are and the idea of bringing one home. However, what you do not know is that many of these dogs and cats have been neglected, abused, and are suffering disease. Millions more even live homeless; they did not have the luxury of being rescued.

SHS Remembering Haiti A Year Later

In the spirit of the New Year and decade, many Americans feel as though they are truly on the road for a fresh new start. For the eight hundred thousand Haitian Americans living in Massachusetts, January is notorious for something else. From now on, the beginning of each year will forever be stained with grief and painful memories from the effect and aftermath of the 2010 Haitian Earthquake that occurred in mid- January.
